- 10.69km route
- Rucking with 20kg's
Believe it or not, the amount of times we have explored The Ladybower Reservoir, we have never ventured on to the other side of the waters. So off we went to explore Win Hill.
As you can see, all the elevation was in the first 2.5km straight up a rocky path at the side of tumbling waters which was lovely, but it made it very muddy so it was more like a slippy scramble at times.
It was defiantly worth it when we got to the top. The sky's were clear and the views were incredible, and we found a perfect spot to have breakfast.
The rusk back down was beautiful and green were met mat a family of frogs living precariously in a puddle waiting for their tadpoles to hatch.
The last half of the ruck was a flat relaxed route following the shores of the reservoir with the sun keeping us warm. (not that we needed the sun when we had 20kg's on our back 😁)
