Doverstone Reservoir feels like you're in north America or Canada at times with lots of pine forests along the hillsides. It is a wonderful place to spend your free time and a definite recommendation from us. We had to double back on our planned route as the far end of the reservoir is a real scramble down for about 5/600m which we decided wasn't the best plan with over 20kg's on our backs.
