Bamford Edge 1st March 2025

Back out into the Peak District this week for a lovely circular route along Bamford edge and back along Stanage edge, welcoming the start of spring as the frost thawed under the warmth of the sun.

In typical British spring fashion the coats and scarfs were on and off constantly as we went up and down the hills.

We stopped for breakfast with a stunning view of the Lady Bower Reservoir, which as you already know is one of our favourite places to ruck, but we got to enjoy it form a whole new viewpoint this week.

Our second coffee of the day was such a treat sat on in a peace place on a rock with the great expanse of the Peak District in front of us. you can't start a weekend any better!
