Dovestone Reservoir 6th April 2025

• 10.21km route
• Rucking with 10kg (Due to the waterfall scramble)

We had some company this week, our son Max and his girlfriend Rogan and don't forget about Rosie. Party of 5!!

It was Max and Rogan's first ruck ever so we all took 10kg's, and with the scramble up the waterfall at the start of the reservoir this was definitely enough weight. We had a great time scrambling up but there were some hairy moments!

But it was definitely worth it when we got to the top as Rogan had baked some Chickpea chocolate muffins which were the best muffins we have ever had and our reward for the climb.

The views from the path at the top across to Manchester we spectacular as the weather had cleared and warmed up with the sun coming out for us.
