🩷☠️Scafell Pike Valentine adventure ☠️🩷 don’t let the pictures fool you it feels surreal we're still alive!

Our spider senses should have known something was going to go wrong when Waze took us to our hotel on one of the UK most treacherous roads Hardknott and Wrynose pass …we were in a 4x4 and we were on two wheels on some of the hairpins on the edge of cliffs.

The next day the ruck started amazingly the views are breathtaking . It was all going fabulously until we got 500m up when we could not see the path for the snow so decided to follow snowy foot prints of people (must have been lost too) who had gone before us… which leads us to hanging on a very small ledge on the side of a mountain with 20kg on my back. We managed to get off the side of the mountain only to find we had another scrabble up a shear snowy mountain face. We made it to the summit safe and well however half way down the mountain Shelly had enough threw her ruck off and refused to go on. But she put my big girl pants on and her 20kg ruck and managed to march back to the car. NOTE always go the tourist route!!!!!
